Submit sitemap for your blogger blog!!………….
For months I kept wondering how my blogger blog was not receiving any visits nor getting indexed despite having good keywords and good SEO.
Well, the problem I came to find out was the absence of XML sitemap. An XML sitemap
helps search engines discover pages on your site that may have otherwise been
missed by search bots. It acts like a registry of all web pages you have on
your website and search engines like Bing, Google and Yahoo use them to
discover your web pages during regular crawling.

You are going to generate a complete sitemap of your Blogger blog using an online
sitemap generator and submit the XML sitemap to Google via robots.txt in step
1. In step 2 you will use atom.xml while in step 3 we will tell search bots
through robots.txt where our XML sitemap is.

A
sitemap should contain a list of all pages on your website though this is not
the case with any blog hosted on blogger. Blogger restricts the number of blog
posts in the default XML sitemap to 26 most recent blog posts. That might not
be a big challenge because the older posts missing in the XML sitemap might
have already been cached yet a solution exists where you can generate a
complete sitemap.
