Multimedia University of Kenya got university status in 2013. The college was established in 2008. Before its establishment the college served as Central Training School (CTS) and was used to serve East African Posts Training School from 1948. It was later renamed to KCCT or Kenya College of Communications Technology in 1992. In 2008 Multimedia University college of Kenya was born. The (MMU) Main Campus is in Nairobi.
